7th & 8th Grade Washington DC Trip

Group photos of each day from our recent 7th and 8th grade student educational tour on June 18-22 to Washington, D.C. and New York. Some had their first airplane ride and then a whole lot of firsts for all of us from there on out! We saw almost every memorial and monument, visited a couple of Smithsonian Museums, experienced Arlington Cemetery and the Changing of the Guard and Wreath Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Spectacular! We rode a bus to New York City where we took the Ferry to Ellis Island and saw the Statue of Liberty. We ate at Guy’s American Kitchen, saw a show on Broadway, and some even got on tv during the taping of the Today Show. Our trip ended at Ground Zero with a tour of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. We were in awe! Oh and I almost forgot that we caught a glimpse of Donald Trump waving to our group as he finished up a speech and was entering Trump Towers on 5th Avenue. It was an awesome trip!!!
