Burton ISD has called for a School Board Election on Saturday, May
6, 2017 with three at-large positions on the ballot. Incumbents are Felton Cox,
Jeff Harmel, and Misty Lucherk. At this time, no one has filed for a place on
the ballot.
A message from Crysta
Smith, a sixth grader at Burton Elementary School. Our character trait for
February is Respect. We spend time everyday learning about Respect and how to
be respectful to our teachers and classmates. We are learning to use good
manners and to be considerate of the feelings of others. After this month, we
are challenged to continue being respectful.
