 Good morning from BURTON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT - #TeamBURTON!!!

Praying everyone is staying healthy and well!!!

Happy Presidents’ Day- an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government.

Congratulations to the Burton FFA Livestock team that competed on February 7th at the Patriot Livestock Judging Contest in Abilene. The team placed 1st and consisted of Tanna Thiel (3rd high individual), Waylon Hinze (12th high individual), Weston Hinze, and Chet Fritsch.  

Congratulations to Mrs. Hodde and her phenomenal Yearbook Staff for continuing their efforts to claim National recognition. The American Scholastic Press Association awarded the Burton Panther Yearbook one of the top-scoring Yearbooks for 2020. These students are creating lasting memories for Burton Schools through their journalistic skills and media representation of our district! Don’t forget to reserve your copy of the 2020-2021 Yearbook which might turn out to be the best ever.
