Good
morning from Burton Schools.
Officially
on this date since 1937, the United States celebrates Columbus Day which
commemorates the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World. This holiday
is a way to honor Columbus’ achievements and to celebrate Italian-American
heritage.
It is
National School Lunch Week so let’s recognize our Food Service Professionals who
strive to prepare nutritionally-balanced meals for our students on a daily
basis. Come discover the Great Plate of Texas with a Healthy Lunch in our
Burton School Cafeteria.
As usual,
