Good luck to our students who are participating in the Houston Livestock Show.
This morning I would like to focus on our campus vision and mission statements. The Elementary promotes that: “We are a community of learners working collaboratively to meet individual and collective potential.” Campus Goals include that Burton Elementary will provide a safe and positive learning environment for all students, improve the academic achievement for all students, develop, recognize, recruit and retain quality staff, improve communication and parental involvement, and improve attendance.

The mission of Burton Secondary School is to provide the highest quality education possible to all students, to the fullest extent of their individual abilities. Students will be provided the opportunities to develop the ability to think logically, independently, and creatively and to communicate effectively. The district will promote the worth and dignity of each individual child and enable each person to become a productive and responsible member of society.

Thanks to our dedicated staff, the commitment from our board of trustees and community, students, and parents that help make Burton ISD one of the finest school districts in Texas.

  Have a fantastic week!!!
